This week is a busy week for us. Aislin's cousins, Maccoy and Carter, came to visit their Oma and Opa in Flat Rock, NC. (Aislin happens to love Oma and Opa too. They have adopted us as family since we moved here last July.) We made the trip up north to have a short visit with them, and went to the Carl Sandberg home to pet the goats that Mrs Sandberg raised for many, many years. She milked them and had some prize-winning goats. It was a pretty neat experience for the kids...except when Carter was knocked over by a goat!
We went swimming at the Kenmure club and then spent some time at the Hands On Museum in Hendersonville. The kids had a lot of fun there too, but my favorite moment was when Aislin spent time in the baby nursery. She rocked a baby for a while, and then rocked the baby's teddy for a long time while listening to a Gaelic lullaby. It was so sweet.
Thursday we fly to Detroit for Easter and when we return to SC, it's time for the BIG MOVE!
