My co-workers and the lovely clan of football wives at CMU threw a baby shower for me, which was so generous considering most people do not get a baby shower the 2nd time around. My mom and aunt Nancy drove up from Detroit to join us. I am so blessed to have wonderful friends and family.

A Quick Catch Up
So I see that my last post was in September. Whoops. It's so easy to let things slide, and I can't even begin to imagine how much our lives our going to change when this new baby comes. So here's a little tribute to Aislin and her last few days as an only child.
Halloween - Aislin was thrilled to dress up as Ariel from the Little Mermaid.
For Thanksgiving, we were in Toledo with papa and the football team. It was too cold to go to the game, so we spent time with Grandma and Auntie Dayna and went shopping for flower girl dresses instead! Aislin has a big role to play this May.
Christmas 2010 - At 5 weeks away from my due date, we traveled to Chicago and Green Bay to be with family for Christmas. It such a treat to be with family.
Checking out the windows and tree at Macy's. The story was Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!
Leaving Santa his milk, a chocolate treat, and a special note saying what a good girl she was that year.
Aislin's gift from Santa - it was as tall as she was...and it was a big hit!

Aislin Funnies
Yesterday I was putting on my comfy clothes after we ate dinner, and before Aislin's bath, and I was saying how big my belly was...and there's a baby in my belly. Aislin agreed there was a baby in there, and that she had a sister in her belly!
We (all 3) got ice cream last night at Doozies, and then had to run to the ATM. She asked where are we going, so I said we had to go to the bank. While we were all driving there she said "you want to come too papa?"
Here is a cute pic from the gymnastics class I take her to on Thursday nights. It gets her nice and tired!

Baby's First Photos
Last week Thursday I had an ultrasound and got my first pictures of Baby Barry #2. We are not finding out the sex of the baby again, but I have a hunch it's a boy. I think the belly picture looks like a football!

Potter Park Zoo
Having Grandma live so close to us is such a blessing. She met up with us this past Sunday (yes, that means this blog is up to date again) in Lansing at the Potter Park Zoo, and then for lunch and a little shopping while papa worked hard in football training camp.
The little farm inside the zoo was a big hit. Ais liked petting the different goats.

Visiting an Old Friend
Our friends from South Carolina, the Landa's, made a trip to Klinger Lake in Michigan and invited us to stay at their guest cabin. We were so thrilled to relax and spend time with them and still miss them very much from our days in Greer.
We visited a farm, played at a park, went for a pontoon ride, and played in the water.

A Day at the Museum
On one of papa's days off, we headed to Lansing and visited the Impression 5 hands on musuem.
Loading tennis balls into the air-pressured tube; playing with bubbles; and playing some music.
Cleaning house and in the water table.

On this Day We Place Our Child in God's Care Forevermore
On July 18, we had Aislin baptized at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mt Pleasant, Michigan. It was a special event for our whole familly and we had about 30 guests join us for her special day. Unfortunately, I was not the main photographer that day so I only have a few pics.

4th of July in Sturgeon Bay
We spent 4th of July in Sturgeon Bay at Grammie and Grandpa's house. We were able to spend a lot of time with Aislin's cousins at the parade in Fish Creek and had some fun at Bay Beach park.
After breakfast at the White Gull Inn.
Spending some (impromptu) time at the beach.
At Bay Beach. Aislin loved riding all the kids rides with Lucas. I think he liked riding with her too.
We all went to breakfast on the farm and then to Peninsula State Park.
At the parade on a chilly morning, and collecting candy. Her cousins were pretty helpful in putting candy in Aislin's bag for her.
Helping Grandpa around the house before we had to leave.
